Tuition
Tuition is calculated on a per-credit basis.
Tuition fees are reviewed annually by the Board of Governors. In recent years, tuition increases have been 2% for continuing domestic students and between 2% and 5% for continuing international students.

Awards: scholarships and bursaries
UBC and our donors provide a range of financial support options to reward your academic and extracurricular achievements and meet your financial needs.
The most common types of awards administered by UBC are:
- Scholarships: merit-based awards that recognize academic achievement. Other merit awards based on achievements in areas like community involvement or athletics may also be available.
- Bursaries: awards based on assessed unmet financial need. These student awards are based solely on financial need are not indicated on a student’s transcript.
