A group of UBC Economics students, representing the university and the Vancouver School of Economics, are this year’s winners of the Bank of Canada’s Governor’s Challenge, a national case competition where students act as advisors to the Bank’s Governing Council.
BA students Stephanie Brook and Burhan Qadri, and BIE students Akash Uppal, Sparsh Nagar, and Lily Suh, won the national case competition this past weekend. Their supervisors were Prof. Jonathan Graves and Prof. Michael Devereux.
