Professor Emeriti Nancy Gallini and Craig Riddell have been elected Fellows of the Canadian Economics Association, announced in May. They join a distinct group of Canadian economists to be recognized for their career achievements and research contributions.
Gallini and Riddell join five faculty members from the Vancouver School of Economics who have been previously elected as Fellows. With this year’s inductees, there are now 27 CEA Fellows.
Gallini’s research focuses on the economics of intellectual property, competition policy, strategic alliances, licensing, and optimal patent policy. Riddell’s research focuses on labour economics, labour relations and public policy.
