Dr. Mukesh Eswaran
Professor Emeritus Dr. Mukesh Eswaran has been named one of our new Fellows to the Canadian Economics Association, announced earlier this month at the CEA’s annual conference. He is the first person of colour to be inducted.
Dr. Eswaran’s expertise is in development economics and the economics of gender. He joins an exceptional group of more than 30 Canadian economists whose career achievements and research contributions are significant to the discipline.
He is the eighth faculty member from the Vancouver School of Economics to be named a Fellow.
