The Stone Centre on Wealth and Income Inequality at UBC’s Vancouver School of Economics is welcoming applications for its 2025/26 Postdoctoral Fellowship program.
The Stone Centre is seeking scholars working in any economic field—particularly labour / public / development economics, political economy, macroeconomics—whose research explores the causes or consequences of economic inequality, and possible remedies. The position is open to scholars who are within five years of having received their PhD (or equivalent degree such as DPhil) by the position start date. Consideration may be given to those who expect to have successfully defended their PhD dissertation by the position start date.
