Prof. Claudio Ferraz
Vancouver School of Economics Professor Claudio Ferraz has been named a Fellow by the Econometric Society, an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics, announced earlier this month.
He is one of fourteen new Fellows elected by the society, and he is the only new Fellow from a Canadian university.
He is the fourth VSE faculty member to be recognized with the prestigious honour, joining Profs. Chuck Blackorby, Erwin Diewert, and Michael Peters.
