Hello to VSE’s newest faculty members! Joining the VSE community as Assistant Professors are Vitor Farinha Luz, Sam Hwang, Jamie McCasland, and Thorsten Rogall. Additionally, Cheryl Roberts, Lecturer, joins us in a joint appointment with VSE and Vantage College.
These appointments significantly expand the School’s teaching and research capacities in many areas of economics, specifically:
- Vitor: microeconomic theory, mechanism design and insurance economics
- Sam: market design, industrial organization, education
- Jamie: development economics, with a focus on labor markets and firms
- Thorsten: political economy and conflict
- Cheryl: econometrics, microeconomics, macroeconomics
