VSE Professor Appointed to C.D. Howe Institute’s Monetary Policy Council

Vancouver School of Economics (VSE) Professor Michael Devereux was recently appointed to the Monetary Policy Council at the C.D. Howe Institute.

Devereux has been at the University of British Columbia  since 1992 and his research focuses on international macroeconomics, exchange rates, and financial markets.

President and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, William Robson spoke highly of the VSE Professor; “Mick Devereux is in the front rank of Canadian macroeconomists, with a wealth of insights about monetary policy’s implementation and effects, we are delighted he is joining us.”
