About

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia with an expected completion date in the Summer of 2024. I will be available for interviews in the 2023/2024 job market. My research interests are in the areas of political economy, development economics, and the economics of crime. In my job market paper, I study the effect of territorial control by criminal groups on political competition and public service provision.
