About
I am a Professor in the Vancouver School of Economics, and I have been at UBC since 1992. I obtained my PhD from Queen’s University. My main research interests are in the field of international macroeconomics and international finance. I have ongoing research projects with co-authors in Canada, the US, Europe and Asia. Over my career I have had the pleasure of working with many PhD students who have gone on to success in positions in different parts of the world. At UBC I teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in international finance and monetary economics.
