I am a Professor at the School of Social Data Science and Director of the Centre for Urban and Real Estate Studies at Hitotsubashi University, as well as a Visiting Professor at the Vancouver School of Economics, UBC. My teaching and research focus on big data analysis of price measurement, consumer price indices, property price indices, and real estate economics. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo and have extensively co-authored with Erwin Diewert.
