I am a Professor in the Economics Department at Carlos III University of Madrid, currently visiting the Vancouver School of Economics at UBC until July 2023.

My main research areas are general equilibrium theory, search theory, and asymmetric information — with an emphasis on macroeconomic applications.

I received my PhD from UCLA where I also obtained the Alfred P. Sloan Doctoral Dissertation fellowship.
