Economics PhD Book Award Winners Announced



Each year, book awards are given to Year 1 economics doctoral students who have earned the highest grades in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics.

Congratulations to the 2013-14 book award winners:

  • Yin Chi Terry Tam obtained the highest GPA in microeconomics. He receives the Chuck Blackorby Prize in Microeconomics
  • Nathan Canen is the recipient of the John Helliwell Prize in Macroeconomics for achieving the highest GPA in macroeconomics
  • Denis Kojevnikov receives the John Cragg Prize in Econometrics for the highest GPA in econometrics
