Three VSE students, Cristina Blanco Iglesias, Liam Orme, and Varun Srivatsan, were offered the opportunity to consider what questions they wished they could ask VSE faculty about their choice to become economists and what advice they have to offer potential and current students. They then interviewed several VSE faculty members to seek answers. Here are the insightful results of those conversations.
“What inspires people to become economists? What does it take to be an economist? We have taken the opportunity to speak to some VSE faculty to learn how and why they ended up here – and what inspires them to keep moving their teaching and research, and their field, forward.
