My main research and teaching interests lie in transportation economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics.

I obtained a Bachelors in Economics from Simon Fraser University. I later completed a Masters in Transportation Economics at the Institute for Transport Studies and a PhD in Economics, both from the University of Leeds, UK. My PhD thesis focused on developing the theoretical knowledge of airline cost function and efficiency analysis using Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).

ECON326 Methods of Empirical Research in Economics Sections

Techniques of empirical economic research. Topics include simple and multiple regression, time series analysis, and simultaneous equation estimation.
